Happy Sunday everyone! Although it’s been a drizzly and rainy weekend, last week we had higher than normal temperature all week long. It was feeling a lot more like summer then spring, so it was the perfect kick in the butt I needed to get my patio in summer condition. I washed all the patio furniture, cleaned the deck and brought the cushions and decor out from storage. Then I added the finishing touches of a new outdoor rug and planted all new flowers and plants in my pots and window boxes!
I love spending time outdoors so I really wanted to make my deck a little oasis that I could enjoy during the day with my lil one or at night sipping wine with my hubby. I absolutely love how it turned out!
However… with renovations still underway on our garage and house, I will share pictures of our deck once the last of the building materials are cleared away. In the meantime I thought I would share some of my favorite outdoor living spaces with you in case you needed some fresh ideas to inspire you. With garage sale season and stores like Walmart and Target selling patio decor, I’m sure you can transform your living space into one that suits your style on a small budget.
I tend to always decorate with neutral colors and natural elements and since I love coastal and nautical designs I absolutely LOVE these first two patios!!
