DIY Deck the Halls

The countdown is on, the lights are twinkling, the stockings are hung and the house smells like fresh pine (or at least artificial scented oil…haha) I had all my decorations up at the end of November but with only two weeks until Christmas I’m still trying to make my house as cozy as possible.

Does your house look a little ba-humbug?! Are you just pulling your decorations out of storage?! Find yourself scrambling for last-minute gift ideas? In need of a host gift? These are a couple of my favorite and easy diy projects that could be the perfect solution to your holiday woes. All of these projects were inspired by ridiculously expensive brand name versions. But these are kid friendly and wallet friendly. Enjoy!

But don’t forget about wrapping the gifts! If you are feeling extra domesticated why not try making your own unique wrapping paper with this easy diy found here. DIY Flower Stamp

Although this time of year can get pretty hectic and stressful, I hope you manage to take some time for yourself to relax. Whether it’s sitting down with a good book, going for a snowy walk, sipping a decadent specialty coffee, or curling up in front of the fireplace. Either way….. enjoy this time of year as much as you can because before you know it, it’ll be time to put the tree and the cookies away. Darn you New Years Resolutions!

Q. Where does a snowman keep his money?
A. In a snow bank.
