That’s pretty crappy…

To be completely honest… the past few days a garden snail has been more active and productive than me and I would make Eeyore look like a optomist. Today especially is just one of those days that I feel like crap, so I might as well post a cake about crap. For those who know me, I am in a good mood all the time so today I’m allowing myself to have a pity party and you’re all invited.

I was in my second (one was more than enough) bad car accident two years ago. I am constantly in pain on the best of days, but when my body is run down the pain is practically unbearable. So the fact that I am just getting over what feels like the longest 14 day cold ever has been rough, to say the least. My colds usually last a couple of days at most so I was starting to  conclude that I must have caught bubonic plague or scurvy. But then I came to my senses. I work in an elementary school, so the germs on every pencil or doorknob I touch could possibly grow their own ligaments if cultured in a petri dish long enough.

In my career a cold is inevitable, but my attitude towards it is entirely my own choice. So after I’m done writing this post I’m going to suck it up, self medicate with wine and popcorn and hope that I can focus on something other than the pain I’m in. While i’m relaxing I hope you enjoy these pictures of the kitty litter cake I made for Halloween (check out these pictures too). Thought it was pretty fitting for the day I’m having!

You can’t have a good day with a bad attitude and you can’t have a bad day with a good attitude
