Halloween is right around the corner and I am so excited to dress up, make festive treats and see all the lil’ trick-or-treaters. It’s my favourite time of year and with the rainy days, frosty mornings and colorful leaves taking their final rest on the ground, it truly feels like fall. So while being tucked away indoors I have been creeping around the internet for some cute ideas to share with you! I’m not one to transform my house into a Halloween museum once fall rolls around but I do like decorating with a few simple things. Leaves, acorns, wreaths and pumpkins. So that’s really all I have right now in my house. I just celebrate Halloween vicariously through Martha Stewart and all those craft enthusiasts who go the extra mile to bring fall inside. Here’s what I did:
(and yes I did decorate with my spaghetti squash….it’s better then leaving it on the counter until I eat it)
Now the rest of these ideas I give full credit to Martha Stewart, Canadian Living and Midwest Living. Have fun decorating!!
I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion – Henry David Thoreau
