There is no other season I love more than fall. I am so blessed to live in a place where we have four very distinctive seasons. The fresh new blooming of spring, the hot beach days in summer, the crisp sunny walks through the leaves in fall and the white blanket that covers it all in the winter. All the seasons are beautiful where I live, but I still love fall the best. As much as I love summer, I find that the heat can get pretty exhausting. Add that to the fact that the AC in my car doesn’t work and after several straight weeks of 30 plus weather, I was ready to sleep in my deep freezer at the end of the day. So I was more than happy when the cool mornings came and I was able to stay cool again. This past week I found myself tucked inside for the evenings baking, cooking and relaxing with a nice glass of
wine water with my hubby. But last weekend on Thanksgiving, I got out for an early morning walk and snapped these pictures. The colors are amazing for photography. Another reason why I love fall.
I just love this old bike that sits in my dad’s backyard nestled in his garden.
I am well-known for being clumsy but this takes the cake. I did this on Thanksgiving dinner as I was trying to put the butter dish away. I smashed their butter dish, and decorated their cupboards.
I’m always goofing off so when my hubby asked for a little bit of everything from the dessert table I took it literally.
Even if something is left undone, everyone must take time to sit still and watch the leaves turn.
