DIY Driftwood Garden Labels

A couple months ago I planted my first potted herb garden on my deck. I had a vision in my head about making garden labels out of driftwood but since I don’t live near the sea, I assumed i’d have to wait till next summer when I went to the coast. So in the meantime I made these rock garden labels. I knew they would work fine UNTIL the plants got too bushy to be able to see them. Well a week after I made them I came across a ton of driftwood when we were camping! SCORE! I guess I would be able to make my driftwood creation sooner than later. So just a couple days ago I decided it was finally time to make my new labels. I trimmed back my overgrown herbs, took out the rock labels and started crafting. This is such an easy craft that I knew you readers wouldn’t even need a step by step tutorial! But photo’s always help! Hope you like it!

You will need:

-scissors

-enough string to wrap around pot and tie

-driftwood (drilled with hole on each end)

-permanent marker

God made rainy days so gardeners could get the housework done.  ~Author Unknown
